You can build a great PC, but if your monitor can't keep up, you won't feel the full benefit. Keyboard, mouse, monitor, and OS all need to be part of your build plan.
Monitor
- Resolution: 1080p is budget friendly, 1440p balances gaming and creative work, and 4K gives you great detail but needs more GPU power.
- Refresh Rate: 60Hz works fine for office use; 144Hz+ gives you smooth gaming.
- Ports: Check HDMI/DisplayPort support on both your GPU and monitor.
- Multi-monitor: For trading/programming setups, check the number of display outputs on your GPU beforehand.
Keyboard / Mouse / OS
- If you'll be typing a lot, keyboard comfort matters.
- For gaming, think about mouse sensor, weight, and grip style.
- Prepare a Windows install USB ahead of time. You may need a Wi‑Fi driver too, so it helps to load the motherboard driver onto the USB as well.

Don't forget to budget for a monitor and accessories in your PC build. Buying an RTX card and then pairing it with a 60Hz panel from a decade ago is a bit of an anticlimax.
