Installing the hardware isn't the finish line. Your PC only reaches full performance once the OS and drivers are set up correctly.
Windows Installation Basics
- Prepare a Windows boot USB.
- Boot from the USB drive in BIOS.
- Select the install drive. Be careful not to wipe the wrong drive.
- Once installation finishes, set up your account.
- Run Windows Update.
Drivers You Should Install
- Chipset Driver: So CPU/motherboard features work properly.
- GPU Driver: For NVIDIA/AMD/Intel graphics performance.
- Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth Driver: Handy to have preloaded on your USB in case networking doesn't come up on its own.
- Audio/LAN Driver: If Windows doesn't auto-install it, grab it from the motherboard's website.
Basic Software Setup
Install, one step at a time: browser, office tools, antivirus/security, backup tool, temperature monitoring tool, and any editing/gaming apps. Try not to pile on too many random driver-updater programs — sometimes they cause more mess than they fix.

Don't grab drivers from some random website. Getting them from the motherboard/GPU's official support page is the safest route.
